Moody Gardens Festival of Lights











While in Houston for Christmas, we went to see the Festival of Lights at Moody Gardens in Galveston. It was a lot of fun. Luke LOVED looking at all of the lights. My favorite displays were the flowers, of course, and the nativity scene. Thanks for a great time!

The Box


One of the greatest things about ordering gifts online is that they normally arrive in a big box. This was one of the most fun things for Luke. He thought it was hilarious to play peek-a-boo in the box!

Luke still really enjoys mixing with his bowl and spoon. It keeps him occupied for several minutes at a time :) He also enjoys drawing with his crayons.

The Car Ride Home from Houston




I need to become a more efficient packer for road trips because if/when we ever have another kid, I don't know where all the stuff is going to go, especially in the car. Needless to say, on either side of Luke's car seat in the backseat, it was piled high with toys and his stuff. Well, before we knew it, we looked back in the car and Luke had pulled out half of his toys and had them on top of himself in the car seat. It was such a sight, I had to snap a couple of pics! I will gladly accept any helpful hints on packing.

We had a relaxing time in Houston for Thanksgiving weekend with Grandma and Grandpa. Thanks for all the yummy food and the relaxing movie watching and football games. We all had a super time! Luke especially enjoyed the wagon rides and pillows!

We had a fantastic Thanksgiving with Mimi, PawPaw, Uncle Brad, Aunt Lauren, Jillian, and Faith. We went to Northpark and strolled the mall and ate at PF Chang's, which was really yummy. Then we enjoyed our time at the Fort Worth Zoo. The cousins really liked all the animals. And, we ate a delicious Thanksgiving lunch and celebrated Christmas early with my brother's family. Thanks for a wonderful holiday!
