Baking

Luke has been enjoying helping me bake all sorts of things in the kitchen. He really enjoys helping with waffles and cookies! Yummy!

Pigtails

Ruth Ann has been using Luke's dump truck as a chair for both her doll and for herself. It's really kinda funny. She just barely fits in the seat, and then sometimes she will try to scoot around in it.

Yes, it's true....I actually tried to put Ruth Ann's hair in pigtails. It actually fit, but she didn't really like it too much. She pulled them out rather quickly. But, it was fun while it lasted :)

Easter 2011

Hallelujah! Our Savior is Risen!!!

We had a very nice Easter weekend. Grandma and Grandpa came to our home and enjoyed a relaxing weekend. It was also the weekend when the first part of our fence blew over (the other part of the fence blew over the following weekend). Ruth Ann was not feeling great that weekend, so she and I did not make it to church, but Grandma, Grandpa, Mimi and Pawpaw went with Luke and Nate to our church on Sunday morning. While they were at church, Ruth Ann and I "hid" the Easter eggs, so she and Luke could have an Easter Egg Hunt. It was a lot of fun watching them find the eggs. Then Uncle Jon and Aunt Kristie came over to our house and joined us for an Easter lunch. Thanks to everyone for the delicious lunch and wonderful fellowship.

Easter Cards

Grandma and Grandpa sent Luke and Ruth Ann some precious Easter cards, and they were really excited about them. Before we knew it, Ruth Ann was making hers into a hat, and then Luke quickly joined in the fun. It was so funny! Thanks for the cute cards!

A few snapshots...

Smiles

Here's a few new smiles to enjoy!

Sunglasses!

Yes, even though this post is about sunglasses, I want to focus on Luke's shoes for a moment. Luke has on boots in this picture. It was the day before Rodeo Day at school, and he was SO excited about wearing them. The funny thing is that I found them the day before at Walmart for $1.50!!! (Talk about waiting 'til the last minute. But we are ready for next year, because at that price, I went ahead and bought the next size!)

So, recently, Luke and Ruth Ann have really been into wearing sunglasses. It cracks me up. Sometimes Ruth Ann will play with them on inside the house for a long time! They really enjoy wearing them!
