"Baby" Dedication

This picture above sums up the Baby Dedication morning :)

The same weekend that we enjoyed Thomas the Train on Saturday, Luke and Ruth Ann had their "baby" dedication at church on Sunday. Yes, I know....they are not exactly babies, but better late than never? Anyway, it was an eventful morning. Truly, both kids were exhausted from the day before and all the excitement of being with both grandparents, so they were a little tired on Sunday morning. Luke chose to be very nice and sweet during the dedication on Sunday morning; however, Ruth Ann had a different idea. She chose to scream and not be quite so happy in front of the congregation. It was a moment to remember. Nate and I selected Life Verses for each child and they read that Bible verse to the congregation. We chose Matthew 5:16 for Luke and 1 Timothy 4:12 for Ruth Ann. We hope to truly make those verses a part of their lives each day. We were also joined by two other families dedicating their children, as well. It was a special morning and I'm so thankful that both sets of grandparents and Uncle Jon and Aunt Kristie were able to join us.
