Christmas Eve was full of excitement. Luke and Ruth Ann "helped" me bake all sorts of yummy food that day. Little did Ruth Ann know that she was getting a kitchen the very next day. She really needed it the day before! We made a chocolate trifle, and Christmas cookies for Santa, which Luke got to decorate later that day. Mimi and Pawpaw came over and surprised Luke and Ruth Ann with some yummy sugar cookies too; they were delicious. Then Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Jon, Aunt Kristie, and baby Natalie came over. We went to the children's Christmas Eve candlelight service at 4:00. It was a sweet service that really focused on the best gift of all, Jesus. Then we came back to our house for yummy Taco Soup and the chocolate trifle. Delish! It was a special day.
