Can't believe that my baby boy is no longer my baby. In fact, his baby sister no longer seems much like a baby either. Luke turned three in June!
He enjoyed celebrating his Birthday with his Mommy, Daddy, Sister, Pawpaw, Mimi, Grandma, Uncle Jon, and Aunt Kristie! He had a blast, and especially enjoyed his Chocolate Cake.
Luke also had a Birthday Party at Build-A-Bear where he ate donuts, and made a puppy dog with several of his friends.
He also had chocolate cake with mommy and daddy on his actual birthday, too. It was yummy. (Ruth Ann even had a taste, but don't tell anyone :)
Luke really enjoys building "tall towers" with his blocks. He can't seem to get enough music in that little body of his. Whether the radio or CD is on in the car, or he hears some music on at home, or I'm singing songs, he instantly joins in and sings and plays along with it. (Meanwhile, Ruth Ann does, too!) Recently, dinosaurs have captivated his attention and he is fascinated with how big they are and that some of them eat leaves. (It has really made him eat salad a lot more, because he thinks he's a dinosaur.) He LOVES to water with his sprinkler hose outside, and it is definitely hot enough for it! He really enjoys anything outside, from sweeping, to running and playing on his swing set. He also likes to think about letters in the alphabet. He seriously can tell you almost any letter or number (1-9) and I'm amazed at his constant curiosity. I'm looking forward to what this next year holds for us. It will be fun to watch Luke continue to grow and add new skills this coming year. I'm so thankful that God has given us two wonderful blessings to be able to train, teach, and love!
